Summary
In order to provide our services we are required to hold and process personal data. We use this information to; conduct Customer Due Diligence (CDD) checks we are obliged to conduct under law; meet our obligations detailed under our letter of engagement; and, provide you with any additional services we may agree with you to provide.
We hold your personal data on Cloud based accountancy software provided by TaxCalc, Quickbooks, our emails systems, as spreadsheets stored locally on our computers and, in some instances, as physical printouts stored in locked filing cabinets.

Though we would always encourage you to contact us in the first instance so that we can attempt to resolve your complaint.
Personal Data
We hold personal data in conjunction with Accounts and tax returns vat returns and payroll information. Mortgage applications. Credit requests. AMLCC for MLR compliance. Our credit card and direct debit providers world pay and go cardless will also hold your data, if you decide to use these services.
Personal data must be transmitted to HMRC / companies house via secure internet connection. This must be done to meet your statutory obligations for VAT PAYE and Tax Returns also Companies house statutory obligations. Also, AMLCC for MLR compliance.
How long the data is Stored?
In line with GDPR we keep your records for 6 years to meet statutory tax guidelines. Please read our contract with you for what happens to it after 6 years. If you leave us as a client, we are obliged to destroy it after 5 years unless you instruct us to do so earlier.
